Get to Know Us

Aprigo was founded in 2015 by Robin Huber as a fruit import and distribution company in Zurich. Initially catering to wholesalers, boutique hotels, and fruit markets, the company imported fruits from all around the Schengen, with a focus on Spain, Italy, Greece, and the Netherlands. Over the years, Aprigo has expanded its operations to South America, including Brazil, Ecuador, and Peru, as well as other European countries like Greece and Turkey. In the last few years, Aprigo also operates in Bern, Switzerland. Our specialty lies in Bananas, Apricots, and Peaches.

Robin Huber - Founder & CEO

Robin Huber, born in 1982 in Wolfhalden, Switzerland, is a visionary entrepreneur and the driving force behind Aprigo. Son of Anton Huber, the former manager of a Spar grocery store in Zurich, Robin was immersed in the logistics of the retail industry from a young age. While pursuing his economics degree at the University of Zurich, he adeptly took on the role of logistics manager for the family store, gaining invaluable expertise in the import and distribution sector.

In 2015, leveraging his extensive knowledge and experience, Robin founded Aprigo, a premier importer and distributor of fruit in Zurich. Under his dynamic leadership, Aprigo has consistently achieved new milestones and set industry benchmarks. In 2021, Robin ambitiously expanded Aprigo's operations to South America, broadening the company's reach and influence in the global market. Today, Robin Huber continues to lead Aprigo as CEO, steering the company towards unprecedented growth and success.
